After experiencing excruciating pains in my lower back which left me lying on the floor for hours, I decided to seek relief from a specialist.<br>My research led me to the Spine and Nerve Centre in East Legon, Accra, Ghana. They asked me to do an MRI scan and they studied the results before setting out a course of treatment.<br>The treatment was for 24 sessions which required me to come to the clinic 3 days a week.<br>The nurses were very professional, courteous and pleasant. Spine and nerve center is the best place to be when faced with lower back and other spinal related condition. I was dignossed of lumber compression and herniated disc which afftected my sciatic nerve resulting in sviatica. I could neither walk nor stand for more than 30 seconds but started seeing massive improvement just after 2 weeks of the 12 weeks programme. Today, I can do everything by myself. I was diagnosed with Spinal stenosis 3 years ago. The prognosis was that I'd be in a wheel chair in 10 years. I was sent to physical therapy which did absolutely nothing for the pain. I went for decompression therapy 3 days a week tapering down to once a week. In week 6 the pain was returning. It became all too apparent that the big fancy decompression machine was an expensive band-aid. I came to Ghana and began my search for specialized help and found Spine and Nerve Center. I committed to the 4 month program developed for me. After my first session, I was thoroughly impressed. I immediately knew i was in the right place. Today, having completed the treatments, I am pain free thanks to the wonderful, knowledgeable and friendly staff! My discomfort was over the roof and I wondered if I could ever feel better. Fortunately, I was introduced to Spine and Nerve and in the process of my treatment, I wondered if it was going to be effective. Lo and behold, it was all worth it. Now I feel good!
Coming across Spine and Nerve Centre paid off. After several years of neck pain due, primarily, to bad sitting posture and bad habit of mobile phone use I came across Spine and Nerve Centre. My left shoulder was horrible with shock-like sensation down my left arm. Just after 2 to 3 weeks that pain and shock like sensation down my arm stopped. Thereafter, the pain in my neck kept healing until my last session. I feel good now and recuperated. One important thing the physiotherapist told me was that I should not go back to those old habits of sitting long and ensure when using my cell phone it is at eye level. Trust me, since I started the treatment ,I had become eye-level cell phone use fanatic. I cannot afford to get this neck pain resurface. I sprained my hip. Such excruciating pain, I'd not wish on my worst enemy, but I was directed by a friend to see them. I got there quite late but they still attended to me. I initially came in here with a walking aid since I was quite tilted to my right side due to low back pain radiating to the leg. But currently, I'm able to walk without any aid. My low back pain and radiating pain have both reduced.<br><br>I presented neck pain which brought about headaches which made it difficult to move the neck. Currently, my neck difficulties and Headaches have all reduced. I am optimistic about achieving optimum results with time.
